Engraved Legend Plates

Engraved text on flexible plastic sheet stock has been the “standard choice” when product identification or labeling is needed. Legend Plates, Field Device Tags, Pushbuttons and Pilot Lights, Control Panel Tags, Dials and Scales, Solenoid Valves, Solenoid Manifolds, Proximity Switches, Snap-Track Tags are components used for industrial identification and are custom produced when mandated specifications are vital. Rotary or laser machines are used to achieve text or image on laminated plastic.                                  

Rotary Engraving removes the surface of the material with a mechanically driven high speed carbide cutter to cut a two dimensional relief. This gives a traditional look consisting of a surface color and a contrasting core color.            

Laser Engraving is produced on specially designed plastic by raster imaging a very thin layer of the material resulting in extremely fine detail.

Reversed Engraving takes the text or image and cuts it on the reverse side of the material (as a mirrored image). It is then paint-filled with acrylic paints to produce a one-color or multicolored tag.  The smooth front surface is easy to clean, has a matte DR Acrylic composition that is scratch proof and UV stable.  With its unique colored appearance, choose reversed engraving to “upgrade” standard engraving techniques.

Font Selection can range from simple, traditional, fancy, or ultra-modern. Various font styles are available to enhance any design.
